About Us

We started The Little Honey Bees Day Nursery in 2015 because we wanted to provide an exciting, innovative and stimulating care for our children in an environment that presented many opportunities for play, interaction and development at their own pace and in an environment they feel safe in simply because we wanted them to have the best possible start in life.

We have been successfully running a nursery in the Acton area for the last couple of years and have now ventured on to Ealing Broadway to start our exciting new adventure. Our new nursery contains 4 spacious rooms to accommodate children from 3 months to 5 years and an outdoor garden area.

Baby Room

Our baby room focuses on a sensory approach as the senses are vital in the early years of development. Equipment and displays are placed at child height so they can see, touch, feel and investigate their environment up close.

We aim to meet all the individual needs of your child by assigning your child a key worker. Key worker provides innovative ways to encourage learning through meaningful interactions and discovery play.  All rooms have qualified professionals that put the welfare and education of every child first. The children will enjoy both indoor and outdoor play. They will become confident learners, experiencing meaningful interactions and structured activities daily, covering all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS).

During your baby’s settling in sessions, it is a time to get to know each other, discussing your routine and their individual needs and requirements.  We will always keep you fully informed of your baby’s progress electronically and verbally.

Toddler Room

Our toddler rooms are designed to encourage your child’s mobility, as learning on the move is the essence of this age group.  At this time your child becomes more social, they love to copy and mimic and there are noticeable changes in their emotional development.

Our toddler rooms are created to help your child develop their social and physical skills by encouraging independence and freedom of choice. There is age appropriate equipment that promotes sharing and group play as well as developing each child’s independence.

2 – 3’s Room

We offer varied, stimulating and an exciting curriculum to encourage your child’s growth and development.  Learning will be tailored to the individual needs of each child and our topics will provide a wealth of different experiences to extend their knowledge and understanding. The Little Honey Bees Day Nursery’s team will spend time encouraging your child to learn through play, songs, colours, shapes, numbers letters and the jolly phonics in preparation for the move to Pre-School.

Pre – School Room

Your child’s time in nursery will be carefully planned using the seven areas of learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and all activities are appropriate to their developmental needs.  We aim to develop all areas of learning by drawing on their interests, then extending them by providing a variety of structured and stimulating learning experiences. Each Key Person will provide learning goals through close observations, group activities and focused one to one tasks to help your child flourish and get them ready for school and really focus on their independence.

The Little Honey Bees Day Nursery work together as a family and as a family we understand how important it is to provide a safe and secure environment to promote the development of each individual child. We understand that it is absolutely paramount for children to feel care and happiness at all times whether at home or at nursery.

We are very passionate about working with children and providing a loving and caring environment which offers structured and planned learning activities suitable to their age and stage of development. We recognise the relationship between you and the nursery is vital to your child’s well being and with the support and guidance of our highly qualified team you can be assured that you and your child are in safe hands. We thrive to make every experience unique to the child and provide a comforting homely feel to ease parents and children with settling into a new environment.

Here at the Little Honey bees day nursery we aim to extend that home environment.
